Booking Deadlines for Same-Day Courier Collection
Post n Packages offers same-day courier collection from most locations, provided you book within the specified deadline for your area.
Each postcode has a different booking deadline. Most areas have deadlines between 12 PM and 3 PM, with some services in London offering later pickup options.
When you receive a quote from Post n Packages, each service option will specify the available pickup day for your parcel and the timeframe you have to book the courier to ensure collection on the same day.
Glossary: A 'deadline' in courier terms refers to the booking cut-off time for same-day collection. To use same-day pickup service after booking online, make sure to complete your booking before the deadline for your area.
Selecting a Pickup Time
Courier pickups are available from 9 AM to 7 PM, Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays. While it is not possible to request a specific pickup time, Post n Packages allows you to choose a pickup window to minimize your wait time.
During the booking process, you can select both the date and the pickup time window. For example, if the booking deadline in your area is 12 PM, you can choose a pickup window anytime from 12 PM to 7 PM.
Scheduling Pickup from a Different Location
To arrange a courier collection from a different address, you'll need to provide a phone number and email address for the contact person at that location. Shipping documents and instructions will be emailed directly to the shipper.

- Confirm with the shipper that they have received the email with the shipping labels and understand how to print and attach the label to the parcel before pickup.

Our international courier pickup service works just like our domestic service. Provide a phone number and email address for the contact person at the pickup point when booking online.

Collections may fail for several reasons. The most common is that the shipper was unavailable when the courier attempted to pick up the parcel. Other reasons might include the courier being unable to locate the pickup point or delays caused by heavy traffic.

- If the courier hasn't arrived by 4 PM, contact us and we'll follow up on the collection for you. If you're abroad, it's best to call the courier directly in your home country.
How to Reschedule a Pickup or Change the Pickup Date
Rescheduling a pickup is easy with Post n Packages. Simply track your shipment on the tracking page and choose the option to 'Change Pickup Date'.
Labels and Documents
Once your booking is complete, Post n Packages will provide all the necessary shipping documents. It’s important to print and attach one barcoded label to each parcel before pickup.
Attaching Labels to Your Parcel
The collection courier should provide you with a 'documents enclosed pouch' for each label. If unavailable, you can tape the shipping label to the box using clear packaging tape, ensuring the barcodes remain visible and are not covered by tape.
Attaching the Customs Invoice to Your Parcel
If your parcel is being sent to a non-EU country like Bangladesh or India, Post n Packages will generate customs invoices for you to print and attach to your parcel. If your parcel is routed through our sortation center in Haverhill, you don’t need to attach customs invoices as we will handle it at our facility, for your convenience.

- Place an extra address label inside the box.
- If reusing a box, ensure all old labels and markings are removed before use.

Courier Delivery Services
We handle everything from small parcels to large pallet deliveries. Deliveries are made between 9 AM and 7 PM, Monday to Friday. We offer a range of delivery options including standard UK overnight courier, fast worldwide delivery, timed AM delivery, and Saturday delivery for urgent shipments.
Working exclusively with top UK delivery companies, most Post n Packages services include up to three delivery attempts as standard. However, some services have different terms:
UPS Access Point UK Delivery
For UK deliveries of items under 20 kilos, we make one delivery attempt. If unsuccessful, the parcel is taken to the nearest UPS Access Point (usually a local retailer) for collection. A courier calling card will be posted through your letterbox to notify you if a delivery attempt was made.
EU Economy DPD Delivery
For items sent to the EU via DPD, we make only one delivery attempt. If the initial delivery is unsuccessful, DPD will store your parcel at their nearest depot. You must collect it within 5 working days, or it will be automatically returned to the sender.
Keeping You Informed
If there’s an issue with your parcel pickup or delivery, and you’ve provided Post n Packages with the receiver's email address and mobile number at the time of booking, we’ll automatically notify both you and the receiver of any delays via email or phone.

- Always provide a contact phone number and email address for the receiver, especially when using our home delivery service.
- Track your parcel on the delivery date. If the shipment is not showing as 'out for delivery,' contact us for assistance.
- Encourage the receiver to contact the delivering courier in their local area if a delivery attempt has been made, to reschedule delivery for another date.
