Prohibited Items

PnP's prohibited items

PnP makes shipping simple, so you don't need to be an expert to use our services. The sections below provide guidance on everything you need to know. Take a quick look through, and you'll find plenty of useful information on how to make the most of our site.

Pro Tip

Always check the list of prohibited items before shipping, as sending restricted goods can lead to delays, fines, or confiscation. Each country and courier has different regulations, so reviewing these restrictions ahead of time ensures your package complies with local laws and courier policies, preventing unnecessary complications.

Certain goods, as stipulated by law, may only be transported under specific conditions, and some items are not allowed for air transport (e.g., liquids in glass containers).

It's the shipper's responsibility to adhere to the current government regulations or laws in each country. Shipments may be inspected and potentially delayed by customs or other government authorities.

We reserve the right to refuse or suspend transportation of any package which does not set out contact details for shipper and receiver and of goods which, in our opinion, are not practicable for transportation or are not adequately described, classified or packed and labelled in a manner suitable for transportation and accompanied by necessary documentation.

We will not transport any goods which are prohibited by law or regulation of any federal, state or local government in the origin or destination countries or which may breach any applicable export, import or other laws or endanger the safety of our employees, agents and subcontractors or the means of transportation or,which in our opinion, soil, paint or otherwise damage other goods or equipment or which are economically or operationally impractical to transport.

FAQ

PnP.com follows the air transportation regulations set by the International Air Transport Association (IATA) and the road transportation regulations outlined by the UN ADR, and does not accept Dangerous Goods in its system—either nationally or internationally. Local national regulations for road transport also apply. Individuals or businesses shipping Dangerous Goods without proper labeling, documentation, and packaging can face significant financial and legal penalties. It's also important to keep the following in mind when shipping with PnP.com: - If you are reusing packaging or cartons, make sure to remove all old labels. Any dangerous goods labels on a package will cause the shipment to be held and inspected, leading to delays and inconvenience for you and your customer. - If you are shipping items that might be mistakenly identified as Dangerous Goods due to their unusual name or appearance, it's beneficial to clearly state on the shipping documents that they are not classified as Dangerous Goods. This helps prevent unnecessary delays. Any misdeclaration can result in severe penalties for the shipper.
